Art Fair ~2018
Made with the passion of an ARTIST
I began my journey with metal at the age of 9, when my mother re-kindled her interest in jewelry making. I worked alongside her until 2017, when I took my own nomadic shop into any art fair or show that would allow a ‘child’ to present. The work was not work at all, but an art for which I had a raging apitite for. Though I did try to find myself a teacher the year after I began my business, I soon realized that the only places they existed in was the internet. There, I found and devoured as many techniques and tricks I could. Later that year, I was further inspired by an artist who sold pearl jewelry. Her style had completely captured the sea and my interests. From there, I began to derive my styles from nature, an use any stones that captured my interests— in stores or on the beach. The next year, another Artist introduced me to the Viking Knit, opening a whole other world of design for me. I began to venture into copper, a more malleable metal— perfect for the complex weaves and patterns I would later use.
This is my history, and though there isn't much of it yet, I am eager to build upon it.
